November 23, 8-00 pm Visa invites premium card holders of Visa Platinum and Visa Infinite to attend a private concert of Yuri Bashmet, a Russian maitre and violist. Collaboratively with a chamber group “Moscow Soloists” he will present a special program in the Grand Hall of Moscow Conservatory n.a. Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The selected works of Edvard Grieg, Max Bruch and Pyotr Tchaikovsky will be played at the concert. 

The gift of Yuri Bashmet impresses by its variety: the maitre revived viola playing performing numerous works with one of the oldest bow instrument. He got on with his musical career as a conductor.  His recitals have been holding on the best world stages. His work has been awarded.   He was awarded the title of honorary academician of Royal Academy of Arts and awarded the prize «Sonnings Musikfond» that had been granted earlier to such maitre as Igor Stravinsky, Dmitri Shostakovich, Gidons Kremers and others.     

In 1992 Yuri Bashmet founded a chamber group “Moscow Soloists” that played around 2000 concerts in more than 50 countries.  The repertoire includes Russian and foreign classic works and the best contemporary works.
